Annie Kelpy is a native of Sunny San Diego, California, but has been a resident of Oneida county since 2016. She originally moved to the area to support her husband’s transition back to Boonville but has also taken this time to work on her education and career.

Prior to moving to upstate New York, Annie was simultaneously working on her prerequisites for nursing while working both as a facilitator and makeup artist for Sephora and as a staff member in the biology department of her school, Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College. As a cast member of Sephora, she shared her expertise in skincare, makeup, facial symmetry, and product knowledge with her peers and her clients. She was chosen to be part of the first cohort of Sephora University Beauty Class facilitators and part of the bridal pilot that launched throughout the southwest region. She has taught classes of more than 40 clients on achieving their ideal skincare and makeup routine and has worked with some of the most well-known artists and owners in the beauty industry, including Eric Soto, Kat Von D, Josie Maran, Julie Taing, and more. Additionally, Annie held her license in cosmetology and worked as an aesthetician for the top skin care lines in Europe and Asia, respectively, Clarins and Shiseido. As a top performer in her classes at Grossmont, she was asked to become a staff member and assisted in their microbiology lab, worked as a teacher’s assistant, and physiology and anatomy tutor. By excelling in school and work, she showed promise for her future in medical aesthetics.

After moving to Oneida county, she worked in management for Sephora and Kinney drugs, which helped hone her leadership skills and prepare her for nursing school. She completed her associated degree in nursing at Mohawk Valley Community College and was presented with several accolades, including being inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, listed on the President’s list, received the Samuel L. Troia Nursing Scholarship, served as the Student Nurse Organization President, and received the prestigious MVCC Nursing Program Inspiration Award. She has most recently completed her bachelor’s degree at William Paterson University. Due to her performance at her alma mater, she has been inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the National Honor Society. She is currently working through her board certification in aesthetics through the American Academy of Procedural Medicine. She plans to transfer to a Nurse Practitioner program so that she may better serve her clients at Escape Medical PC. Since joining the Escape team, she has completed several certifications and trainings with the Empire Medical Training Program, Dr. Tim Pearce, Julie Horne, Erika Barry the “Injector Bunny,” Molly Bailey from “Bailey’s Botox,”Zizion Group, American Aesthetic Laser Academy, Revance Aesthetics, Prollenium, Evolus, Merz Aesthetics, Allergan Aesthetics, and Cartessa.

Annie’s philosophy is to treat each client like family and support their beauty and wellness goals. She believes in helping each person that walks through the Escape Medical PC doors be the most confident and best version of themselves. She is excited to work with such a talented team of professionals and motivated to provide high-quality service and care to the greater Oneida County region.
